But I never really brought myself to go until now. Why? There were several reasons. First of all, I had a boyfriend who restricted me and absolutely hated classical music, so I never played it in front of him because I was afraid that there might be a conflict and I didn`t want that. I already had enough problems, and I would miss this. My boyfriend and I were increasingly losing touch. But one day, when I was coming back from work, I caught him with his mistress. You should have seen my expression.I was extremely angry and didn`t know what to do. The only thing I could do was say get out and he left. That was the end of our relationship. Strangely enough, it did me a lot of good (I mean our breakup and everything that actually happened). It`s because I was finally able to do whatever I wanted. And first of all, I could listen to whatever music I wanted, which I was absolutely thrilled about. And as a celebration of „freedom“, I heard that I would finally go to a classical music concert, which I had so longed to hear and had never been to because of my restrictive partner. And I was really excited. I knew that I loved classical music, but after the concert I was completely excited. And I told myself that I would go to the concert again. And again. And again. Just as long as I enjoyed it. Now I could really do whatever I wanted and one of my passions was, of course, classical music. So, you can probably imagine how happy I was that I didn`t have to ask anyone what kind of music I could and couldn`t listen to. I just live my life the way I want, and classical music has a huge place in my life.
